I have a private loan & I cannot consolidate it to get a stable payment with a fixed rate.
Private loans have a variable rate & currently they are between 7 percent (if you
have good credit) to 11 percent. The interest rate rarely goes down, so
think very carefully before taking this debt out.

Yes.. You will always need a pin number to do the fafsa. The pin number that
you will receive from fafsa will remain the same through all your schooling...
If you forget it just go to http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ & click on "forgot your pin"?
They can send it to you in four hours.
